Our favorite foods prepared with care and attention to detail for lovers of great meals…………. Martine was founded in 1999 . Originally considered a “Tapas” restaurant, known for our small plates, over the last 20 years we’ve transitioned into a more global cuisine with influences from all over the world. We love all great food and want to share that love of food with you. We still hold our early Spanish & Mediterranean influences close to heart, but include flavors from everywhere else as well. Chef Eric Heath (friends call him Ed), 2 times James Beard nominee for the Great Lakes region, returned to his hometown of Salt Lake City, to lead the team in 2017. Ed brings with him a seasonal and playful approach to food, and a style that suits all diners. At Martine, we feel its important source natural and humanely raised proteins whenever possible including Niman Ranch, Mary’s Chicken, and sustainble seafoods.
Located in one of Salt Lake’s most historic buildings, Martine offers a unique environment to enjoy locally sourced, handcrafted cuisine. We take pride in being considered to be on par with restaurants in more cosmopolitan settings, and we’re thrilled to continue to be part of Salt Lake’s rapidly developing culinary scene, with Chef Ed Heath at the helm. Located conveniently next to Eccles Theater and across the street from City Creek Center, Martine is easy to find and easy to get to. We validate parking in City Creek’s underground garage.
